Samsung Galaxy A20s launched in India, starts at Rs. 11,999

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20s in India. Bharat has been ground zero for many of the Korean giant'south 2019 Galaxy A series phones, and it is too one of the first to exist seeing the Galaxy A20s go on auction. Like 'south' iterations of other A serial phones, the A20s gets a rear console with an updated blueprint and a photographic camera upgrade. Information technology also gets a higher storage variant and a Snapdragon chipset instead of the Exynos chip that powered the Galaxy A20.

The Galaxy A20s comes with a six.five-inch Infinity-V display – the screen is bigger by 0.1 inches than the A20 but information technology's non a Super AMOLED panel. The Snapdragon 450, which has eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at one.8GHz and the Adreno 506 GPU, is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage on the base of operations variant and 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage on the summit-tier variant. At the back, the A20'south 13MP primary camera and 8MP ultra-wide photographic camera take been joined by a 5MP depth camera for enabling enhanced bokeh pictures.

The selfie camera remains an 8MP unit, and the iv,000 mAh battery has carried over intact as well, along with support fo 15W fast charging. The A20s has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, and on the software front end, it runs Android Pie with Samsung One UI. Information technology is probable to go updated to Android 10 at some point, as is every other Milky way A serial phone launched this year.

The Galaxy A20s will be sold in Bharat in black, dark-green, and blueish for Rs. 11,999 (~$170) for the 3GB+32GB configuration and Rs. 13,999 (~$198) for the 4GB+64GB configuration. The latter is priced the same as the Galaxy M30s, which is a much better phone in pretty much every aspect. It remains to be seen when Samsung will actually start selling the A20s – the device was said to be going on sale on Oct 5, but information technology has not yet been listed on major online retailers or the company'due south own online shop.
